During my time at The Collaboratory, I had the opportunity to work on several different marketing pieces.

  • I both wrote in and edited the Fall 2014 Newsletter, which was distributed to about 1000 readers at the end of the fall semester. This piece updated external publics on the successes of The Collaboratory and highlighted particular individuals who had been making a huge impact.

  • The Better Briquettes Promotion piece was a project I took on to help an engineering group pitch a partnership to Texas Roadhouse. With the help of my graphic design team, we created a flyer that could be placed in Texas Roadhouse to create awareness for the Collaboratory project and encourage donations.

  • The Informational Handout was a piece I made to help engineering students engage new members and donors. It was built to give enough information to pique interest, but leave room for engaging conversation.
